Food & Drink

Pintxos (or pinchos, meaning ‘thorn’ or ‘spike’) are a kind of Basque-country bar snack, held together by a skewer and served in a shot glass, ramekin dish, or on crusty bread.

There’s no menu or ordering involved - just grab a plate and help yourself to the ever-changing selection of mouth-watering dishes displayed across the bar. All pintxos are priced at either £2.25 (indicated by a shorter skewer) or £3.25 (for a longer one).

Our drinks list features some of the best (and best value) wines and Cava that Spain has to offer – or try traditional pintxo cider for the authentic experience. As you’d expect, there’s also an extensive cocktail list and well-stocked bar.

Miquel Pons

The Pons family have been producing wine for over 250 years from their 60 hectare vineyard in the heart of the Cava region. As Joan Pons puts it, “Each bottle of Cava is a son you see born, grow and mature in the cellar and when it gets older you feel proud of what has become.”

After exhaustive research and extended tastings throughout the region, this range of organic Cavas ticks every box for us, and we’re proud to be the UK’s exclusive stockist.

Joaquim Martin Freixa

Quim has been a familiar face in the Spanish wine industry for years, representing boutique producers in international markets. In 2013 he literally put his money where his mouth is, embarking on a personal wine-making odyssey from a small vineyard in the Montsant region.

Now in it’s third vintage, we’re delighted to introduce the 2015 Martin Freixa to London, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
